You can pretend it's not true

Before they turned out to be evil...

And if they weren't ReaLLy evil

- They just turned out to be meaner

- Then first was expected

- And their grasses weren't greener

But when I talk to you -

I feel near Presidential

- Dream of white picket fences

Like we were full-residential

(sans grandiose) - of course

- i'm not trying to scare you

But the truth is

When you're talking

- That I actually hear you.

Who could really imagine?

They were ever once heard?

Most times when we talk

People MiSS every word

'Cause they're not trying to hear you

– They're just trying to listen

For a chance to take over

The whole conversation!

When I hear you

- you feed me

And then I strive to give back too

'Cause when I feed you -

you're vibrant.

Which is a light I need off you

A never-ending dynamic

Both us caught in the glow

As we're feeding each other

Both us starting to grow

And what we turn into

Is mutually

– Beneficial

For when intertwined in each other

We have exponential potential
