GLADLY PAY

Frantic dreaming spilt over into life

And now my dreams have come alive

The she I forever longed for

Is right here by my side

They told me I was crazy

Dreams are not realities

That I must keep that separation

Or fall to insanity

But despite all that assurance

I owed my fealty

To this goddess from my dreams

And her nobility

It was to her I swore the promise

Was to her I made that oath

To her cause I never wavered

This new life was owed us both

Laid the path with yellow bricks

Paved our own Golden Road

As I was building it from this side

She would tell me where to go

Little messages writ on paper

On the inside of my soul

Carried on the wings of dreams

Pressed her love through every note

Now that all has come to pass

This is all I have to say
