EMBRACING

Paradigm daydreams lead me back to the beginnings of the things I just started

Requiem mass for that life I just parted and sorted

Pictures of foregone conclusions line the walls of the halls of a life that's gone bye

And the present has become a present I wrap in dandelions and seaweed

They recall oceans

And the potions I mixed to fix her to my current moment

So that she might know me

And show it

Co-mixture a fixture in all of that ceasing

So pleasing it please me

Tangled again in that seaweed

That finds and aligns me with purpose

Her past and my past become worthless

And my worth is now in this

This sweet purpose like elegance

Like I fell again

But for the first time

Rhyme and songs combine

And become life

The underlying current of time

The embrace of hers and mine

Turned one

Turned time

That we might have it to start over

That we might be one another

That we might find love in lovers

Embracing
