So excited just to see her

For yet another chance to grow

Something fledgling

Something powerful

Perhaps intended long ago

Her face lights up like diamonds

Every time she cracks a smile

Her hair like golden cornsilk

I stare in silence

So intense is my observance

I have to keep from grinding teeth

Have to stay present to the moment

And not get lost in her and me

It's been so long since this potential

She's like that love within my dreams

I've been ever seeking for

Her every word is like a chorus

I can't wait for her to sing

She's the wealth life has to offer

Beyond gold or emerald gleam

I should want so much to love her

To learn her secrets and her glow

To learn the depth behind those eyes

In all the ways there are to know

Such subtle sophistication

Soft spoken powerfully

She has a grace that time's forgotten

But is so obvious to me

I want not for another

There's not another I'd adore

So I'll revel in each moment
