Just had to follow inclinations

Let my impulse feed the future

Follow every intimation

Taking chances

Escaping comfort

Halt the Circle of the cycle

I'd much rather

Shoot for something

I can't explain with words or wiles

I don't want manipulation

Will not convince to act

I will not serve up stipulations

Or try to force feed facts

I'd much rather let it happen

Let the whirlwind come to me

Enjoy the space within cognition

Over incognito fantasies

Place my worth in something sacred

Face the face in front of me

See that window of reflection

That determines whom from we

Feel the truth of penetration

As one enters - others flee

There's no hope within frustration

Or within duplicity

I'm the captain of this vessel

Given charge to flesh and bone

Animated it with breath

Now my heart will find a home
