I've been to the depths of hell – and they wouldn't have me.

I've been to the exalted heights of heaven – yet they said I wasn't done.

I came back and knew moreover,

I was searching for the one.

I've looked both long AND hard.

Checked in the most amazing places.

But what I found

In all of that

- Is that baby -

You are aces.

You could accuse me as a fool

Say I hide behind these rhymes

But I know the truth

So I'm prepared

To give you all my time.

Won't shrink away.

I'll never waiver.

Unless you prove you're something else.

But when I look at you within

You're a reflection of myself.

The proof is in the pudding

Which for me is in these rhymes

You can put me off

But I won't flinch

For you're my heart

And share my mind.
