Redefine the pessimist

Check but make him stagger

Until he finds some tenderness

But then comes some revolution

Which he found along the way

Which built towards new solutions

Unto bright and shiny days

There is no comprehension

Commonsense has flown away

Wings all burned by mal-intentions

Flown the coop now come to stay

Moralities a memory

Mortalities what motivates

Most have lost their moral compass

More inclined to simply take

One could get lost in the frustration

Standing high while feeling low

Marred achiever keeps on giving

While "they" take that lower road

It's become a constant issue

Find it at most every turn

Race features through elevation

But the takers never learn
